With the Adaptive Cruise Control on, radar sensors at the front of your Flex will measure the speed and distance of vehicles in your path so it can adjust your speed when necessary.

Another thoughtfully-appointed feature is the BLIS or Blind Spot Information System. This is another system that uses sensors to detect obstacles in your path. As you merge lanes, sensors will keep a watch for cars in your blind spot and alert you with a chime and flashing icon in the corresponding side mirror.
